Come and visit the Castle, a witness to a stormy history of Masuria and former East Prussia. Splendid interior, brilliantly retained elements of gothic portals and vaults , a rich collection of original weaponry, characteristic to the Prussian and Slavic armies – these are just some of the attractions waiting for tourists.
Among the collected items, you can find extraordinary gems: Norman helmets and basinets (the 10th and 11th century), battleaxes, long-helved hatchets (the 9th and 10th century), knights hatchets, animal spears (the 8th-12th century), longswords which were a part of Teutonic and Polish Armies weaponry (the 12th and 13th century).
