Anders Group on the timeline
The Anders Group is the strongest and most recognizable hotel brand in the Warmia and Mazury region and is still growing. Most of its hotel facilities are historic buildings. Their operation, renovation, and maintenance require special care and significant financial outlays.
1991 - Traveland Travel Agency begins operations
1992 - Wanda and Andrzej Dowgiałło purchased a historic palace in Stare Jabłonki, along with a motel building and a dozen cottages. A year-long renovation resulted in the creation of the hotel, which was named Hotel Anders.
1993 - Anders Hotel opens in Stare Jabłonki
1998 - Karczma Warmińska in Gietrzwałd begins operations
1999 - Guzowy Piec joins the Anders Group, where the Warmińska Settlement "Bajkowy Zakątek" (Baby's Corner) is built
2002 - Work begins on the reconstruction of the partially ruined Teutonic Castle in Ryn for use as a hotel
2005 – As a result of the expansion, the Anders Hotel gained 50 modern rooms. The recreational facilities were expanded to include a three-lane bowling alley, a gym, and a nightclub. A modern conference room accommodating up to 500 people was also opened.
2006 – Hotel Zamek Ryn welcomed its first guests.
2007 – A modern spa center with a swimming pool and the "World of Masurian Saunas" opened at the Anders Hotel. The pre-war Anders Palace was also restored to its former glory.
2010 – Renovation of the Warmian Bishops' Palace in Lidzbark Warmiński began, converting it and the adjacent buildings into the Krasicki Hotel.
2011 – Opening of the Krasicki Hotel.
2013 – Hotel Krasicki was the first hotel in Poland to receive the prestigious World Luxury Hotel Award 2013.
2014 – Andrzej Dowgiałło was recognized as the "Hotelier of the 25th Anniversary" in a poll by Hotelarz Magazine, and Horwath HTL, a global leader among hotel industry advisors, was recognized.
2019 – The Anders Group includes the Ognisty Ptak*** hotel located in Ogonki near Węgorzewo.
2021 – Completion of the expansion of the SPA and wellness area at the Ryn Castle Hotel, costing over PLN 5 million. The investment is supported by PLN 1,005,920.50 from the Warmia and Mazury Regional Operational Program for 2014-2020.
